PixTwin is an AI-powered photo management app that runs entirely on your iPhone. It utilizes Meta's advanced DINOv2 ViT-S/14 visual model to accurately extract 384-dimensional depth features from each photo, combined with Apple Neural Engine/CoreML to intelligently identify and automatically group visually similar photos. Zero upload, zero account, zero cloud access. All calculations are performed on-device via CoreML and Apple Neural Engine, ensuring your photos never leave your phone and maximizing your privacy and security.

一、On-Device AI analysis

.This application uses the DINOv2 AI vision model to extract a 384-dimensional feature vector from each photo and build a high-performance approximate nearest neighbor (HNSW/IVF) search index. All computations are performed locally via CoreML and Apple's Neural Engine—zero data leaves your device.

二、 Intelligent similarity search

.Supports automatic grouping and matching of similar photos across the entire album. Adjust the similarity threshold (50%–100%) to find groups of photos that look similar. Ideal for identifying burst photos, photos of scenic spots taken from the same angle repeatedly, or nearly identical portraits. Cluster them into visual groups with just a tap.

.Select any photo, search for the top nine photos with the highest similarity, and label the similarity matching value.

三、Interactive photo browsing

.Swipe to browse groups of photos in the full-screen gallery, with pinch-to-zoom support. View the EXIF ​​metadata (location, date, resolution, file size) for each photo.

.You can remove unwanted photos individually, and they will be deleted from the system photo library simultaneously.

四、Technological advantages

.Image feature analysis and indexing are cached locally. Newly added photos are automatically detected and incrementally indexed, eliminating the need for repeated full scans and saving time and battery power.

.It supports two high-performance indexes: HNSW (high recall rate ≈99%) and IVF (speed improvement of about 10 times), allowing you to switch freely according to your gallery size and needs.
